BIS has completed to implement Service Oriented Project Phase I at National Commercial Bank of Saudi Arabia. NCB required having a single methodology for SOA to be used throughout the life cycle of the project. Hence, a sample project had been selected to have the proof of concept and the project selected was implemented in the production environment as well.

 

The bank has moved to a new architecture which will provide to “unlock” the applications and expose them as services that can be shared or streamlined into flexible enterprise business processes. Hence the direction to move towards the adoption of a Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) that can integrate many third-party as well as the in-house developed systems together through a unified integration platform which can support current and future environments at NCB has been achieved.
